And after the break...

With our batteries fully charged, we continue offering you the themes of our compilation. Now, we're visiting the capital of the Spanish Kingdom thanks to AS MY WORLD BURNS, through the Austrian label NoiseHead Records.
The band made its debut last year with "Letters From Alaska", a post-metalcore album full of strength and technique. We didn't hesitate a bit when we chose them because what we are looking for the most in our first volume is the quality, and these guys are just superb.

And this makes five

Where should we go today? It's summer time, so let's better slip into our swimming suits and visit Valencia, where our fifth band in our track list is from. They are NOCTEM.
Last year they released their death/black adventure "Divinity", which received very good critics here in Spain and in the rest of Europe. In fact, at the beginning of 2010 they were on tour throughout the continent going along with INCANTATION and HATE, and this month they made the luggage again for going with RAGNAROK and DE PROFUNDIS. We chose the song that gives name to their work for our compilation, but the orchestral version. Download it here:

Let's continue

Since we were in Catalonia with LAMENTS OF SILENCE we thought how about remaining here for a while? Therefore, from Tarragona we jumped to Tortosa in order to offer you the forth band in our tracklist: SICKROOM.
They made their debut with the great "That Killing Silence", through the Austrian label NoiseHead Records, and of all the themes from the mentioned debut, we finally decided to pick (click on title to download):

New issue

After HELEVORN and LAST DECEPTION, today we offer you the thirds in the playlist of our first compilation CD. For this, we go to Tarragona, where LAMENTS OF SILENCE are from, a melo-death combo that recently released their spectacular new work "Restart Your Mind" through the Italian label My Kingdom Music.

Second track

Did you like yesterday's theme? HELEVORN are so good that finding a band to continue with the good level and the style of the compilation we wanted to create showed to be a problem. It was difficult... but not impossible.
They are LAST DECEPTION, a strong death metal quintet from Madrid with strong influences and great Swedish melo-death passages. They made their debut with "A Nation Burning Fast", an album released on their own.

By the way, the band made the album to be available for free downloading on their MySpace!

First theme for download

The themes we are going to offer are available for free download, and follow the order in which they appear in the "official release", so we present this first volume openers: HELEVORN

This Majorcan band has surprised us with "Forthcoming Displeasures", their debut album released by the Russian label BadMoonMad Records, to the point that was simply irresistible to contact them to see if they were interested in appearing in our compilation.
The answer was yes and here it is the chosen theme (click on the title to download):
